Ría de Ribadeo route

This circular route begins in Ove and goes through the forests closest to Ribadeo estuary, at the south of town.

At the starting point, you can see spectacular hórreos suspended above the road, as well as the parish church.

The first landmark along the way is the molino de la Ignacia, on the creek Ramos, a windmill that has been recently rehabilitated by the town council not just for grinding but also to generate electricity for its lighting.

Once in the Vilar area, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Ribadeo estuary and visit the chapel of Santo Estevo in La Graña.

At the end of the route, if you venture down to the estuary, you can also see the tide mill of Las Aceñas. 

This route is only 6 km long  and can be done on a bike or on horseback.
