3. Casa de Don Clemente

After amassing an enormous wealth and climbing up the social ladder, Don Clemente, born in Ribadeo, returned to town, purchased two annex buildings, and made them into a single dwelling after a renovation. A keen eye can find elements in the façade that hint at the previous existence of two buildings rather than one.

It was rare for the Indianos to renovate existing buildings, a fact that makes this villa unique and worth studying.
